Experience
Recent work that Rachel has been involved in includes:
- Advising and acting for c.30,000 claimants in equal pay claims against a high-profile retailer.
- Acting on behalf of US Asset Management firms in the Commercial Court in a claim against the London Metals Exchange for losses arising out of cancelled trades.
- Advising a leading private equity investor in the UK in a High Court claim, in respect of breach of warranty and negligent misrepresentation.
- Acting on arbitrations concerning the legal interpretation of contractual terms.
- Part of the team acting on the Supreme Court decision Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Ltd v Compton Beauchamp Estates Ltd and Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Ltd v Ashloch Limited & anr [2022] UKSC 18.
